elitist LLC (“elitist”, “we”, “us”) collects the minimum needed to check compatibility, tune your PC, and run your account. We do not sell your data.

What we collect

  • Account: your email address, used for magic-link sign-in and service notifications.
  • Compatibility scan: a privacy-safe summary of your PC that Evaluator produces: hardware model/spec categories, Windows and firmware versions, and a stability/connectivity summary. For memory, this can include module vendor and part/SKU, capacity, slot labels and counts, speed, rank/width, and selected read-only SMBIOS or SPD manufacturer/product identifiers. We compare those facts with versioned observations to show a clearly labelled likely memory-chip vendor or die; the same module SKU can sometimes contain different chips. We do not receive raw SPD dumps, memory serial or asset tags, or manufacturing dates. Network stability is measured on your device; we receive summary metrics (loss, latency, jitter, throughput), not your IP, SSID, MAC address, or packet traces.
  • Tuning session: BIOS/settings changes applied, benchmark and stability results, and operational logs for the run on your machine.
  • Website diagnostics: the interactive homepage demo may report a bounded technical failure event to our same-origin endpoint. The event contains the failed stage, truncated error detail, and page path. We do not collect campaign parameters or ad click identifiers, set an attribution cookie, or send website events to advertising or analytics providers.
  • Android QR scanner: if you scan an Evaluator code in the Android app, Google Play services and ML Kit process the camera input on-device; the image and decoded result are not sent to Google. Google receives device and app information, device or installation identifiers, performance and API configuration metrics, feature event types, and error codes for diagnostics and usage analytics. elitist does not enable ML Kit's optional barcode auto-zoom collection.

How we use it

To evaluate compatibility, perform and support tuning, operate your account, provide support, and improve the service. Where a tuning result is reused as anonymized precedent to help tune similar hardware, it is subject to the consent scope you agree to.

Sharing and retention

We use infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery, and payment processing if a paid plan is active) to run the service, and share only what those functions require. We do not sell personal data. We keep data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it. Compatibility scan results are kept as anonymized hardware data: the scan record itself carries no account identity, and deleting your account removes the link between your account and your scans rather than deleting the scans.

Your choices

You can close and delete an eligible account from Account settings in the Android app or on the account website (email accounts can also confirm deletion in the iOS app). A compatibility scan that is still awaiting review can be withdrawn by whoever holds its claim link. Contact support@elitist.gg for access requests, IdP-only deletion, or separate deletion work involving billing, KVM support, or tuning results. The remote-control service on your KVM can be removed at any time using the uninstall step shown during setup.

Website attribution and ad-network forwarding are disabled. We delete any legacy eg_attrib cookie when you visit this page or the homepage.
